WestJet Announces New Air Services to Southern Alberta
Posted Nov 27, 2017
WestJet has recently announced WestJet Link, a new air service in Alberta and British Columbia in partnership with Pacific Coastal Airlines. Using Pacific Coastal Airline’s aircrafts painted in WestJet colours, WestJet Link will connect smaller cities throughout Southern Alberta, including Lethbridge and Medicine Hat, to Calgary International Airport (YYC).
This is very welcome news to residents and businesses alike in the Taber region as the Calgary International Airport is quickly becoming a major international network hub and enhanced air service in the region is something that has long been sought after. This new partnership will provide communities throughout the Taber region increased opportunity for individuals and businesses to take advantage of YYC’s route network with easier access through Lethbridge and Medicine Hat.
Beginning in early 2018 and continuing year-round, three daily flights between Calgary and Lethbridge as well as three daily flights between Calgary and Medicine Hat with prices starting from $98 will commence and open up access to international routes to residents throughout Southern Alberta.
